New search result pages on PriceGrabber
PriceGrabber • User Experience
PriceGrabber has recently updated its search result pages, and introduced a new display for products and offers. This new redesign is a nice revamping of the previous SRPs, and perfectly matches the style introduced with the new PriceGrabber homepage in late ’07. In the details:
- The new style sports gradients / shadows / rounded corners… but keeps the existing grey and green PriceGrabber colors.
- Number of reviews, “Number of sellers”, “Add to list”, “Add Price Alert” options are available for each product or offer. This works pretty well on the list view despite the light grey color; however, on the grid view, the iconic representation makes it hard to spot and understand those options.
- Interestingly, the “Number of sellers” option rely on a roll-over effect to preview a few offers from top sellers. This is a nice addition to preview the product page with all merchants.
Coming along this new offer display, a new guided navigation introduces a very intuitive and efficient mechanism to select multiple values per filter, and refresh the search result page.
Overall, this is a really impressive redesign, very polished and neat (I would say as always with PriceGrabber, as I’m always impressed with the quality of execution of its products).
