I’ve just received a mail to indicate Beta is now live:

I don't get it. We already have similar, established sites from, PriceGrabber, Shopzilla, Yahoo shopping, CNET, Froogle, and others. I don't see how this site is going to be different.

Well... It's always good to have challengers to big established players, isn't it ?

The approach of TheFind is different than, Shopzilla, Yahoo Shopping, as they doesn't rely on paid merchants but crawl all the web... So we can expect more offers, more products on their site than on their competitors...

But I think it will be tough for them to become a real out-sider to big ones.

I was just over at their search engine. Its overwhelming. Too much information. As a consumer, I just want an easy way to find the best price for a product and buy it.

TheFind provides too much useless data and not enough quality. I think their strategy is quantity and sacrifice quality. I think they will have problems getting consumers using it.
