New homepage for Kelkoo UK

Kelkoo UK has just rolled out a new homepage. The list of categories is now in a left column, to allow pushing more content on the home:

  • An ajaxified “News” area at the top
  • A list of recommendations
  • A list of popular products on popular categories
  • Tag clouds to highlight top searches, top brands, top stores

This new homepage is evolutionnary, not revolutionnary: a way for Kelkoo to catch up with new Web 2.0-like features (Ajax, tagclouds…), and – don’t you think? – with the new Yahoo! homepage?
