November, 13th – Landing off at Auckland International Airport, after a 36 hours trip from France. We had hired a car for our 3-weeks trip, and then for our first day in New Zealand drove from the airport to Thames, in the Coromandel Peninsula.
Atterrissage à l’aéroport international de Auckland après 36 heures de vol depuis la France. Nous avons loué une voiture pour les 3 semaines de notre séjour ; puis, pour notre première journée en Nouvelle-Zelande, nous avons conduit jusqu’à Thames, dans la Péninsule de Coromandel.
November, 14th – Visit of the Coromandel Peninsula, driving along the coastal road to Coromandel town ; then heading east to see the Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove.
Visite de la Péninsule de Coromandel, en prenant la route qui longe la côté jusqu’à la ville de Coromandel, puis en allant vers l’est pour rejoindre Hot Water Beach et Cathedral Cove.
November, 15th – On the road to Rotorua. We stopped at Mount Maunganui for lunch,enjoying the view of the beaches and a delicious whitebait.
En route pour Rotorua. Pour déjeuner, nous nous sommes arrêtés à Mount Maunganui, profitant de la vue sur la mer et dégustant un délicieux whitebait.
